Service Description: The layer has been created to provide a 10-yr annual average rainfall map for NSW, from 2013 - 2022 for use in our Biomass Assessment Tool for the CCF Project the CCF Project #3 - Biomass for Bioenergy project. The data for this layer was sources from SILO (https://www.longpaddock.qld.gov.au/silo/gridded-data/). SILO provides free datasets about Australian climate data from 1889 to present. The datasets used were national gridded multidimensional monthly rainfall NetCDF files which were converted into annual average rainfall rasters for each yearfrom2013 to 2022 inclusive and clipped to the NSW extent. Those 10 years were then averaged to produce this 10-yr annual average rainfall spatial layer.
This dataset has been made available for information purposes only. No claim is made as to the accuracy or authenticity of the data. The NSW Government and this department (Department of Primary Industries - Forestry) does not accept liability to any person for the information or advice (or the use of such information or advice) which has been provided in this dataset.
