The Plantation Authorisations Feature Service is a polygon dataset used to display mapped plantable and retained native vegetation areas for authorised plantations in NSW. Important Note: The plantations authorisation layer provides indicative spatial information for authorised plantations under the Plantations and Reafforestation Act 1999, including some accreditations under the former TPHG Act. The data is provided for the purposes of general information only and does not substitute verification of an authorised plantation. The digital information for historical authorisations is incomplete and, in some cases, requires verification. Provisions of the Plantations and Reafforestation Act 1999 and Plantations and Reafforestation (Code) Regulation 2001 may apply to operations on areas that are not mapped as plantable or retained native vegetation areas in this dataset.
